Event: Carden Park annual grape harvest with additional helpers for the first time
Each year the 3 ace vineyard onsite at Carden Park Hotel is harvested in November. The grapes are picked by the estates team and are used to produce up to 6,000 bottles of Carden Old Gold sparkling wine. This year for the first time Carden Park has invited a selection of local clients who will help with the harvest and gain a hands-on experience of how the process begins to create a Cheshire sparkling wine. Peter Pattenden, Estates Manager will be at the harvest to talk about the vineyard history including the resurrection in 2006, the wine process and the future of one of the most Northern vineyards in the United Kingdom.
