We had the pleasure of sampling the newly launched Winter Warmer Afternoon Tea menu, at Hard Days Night Hotel, with the addition of five new seasonally inspired cocktails (lucky us!).
From this week, guests will be able to enjoy a selection of finger sandwiches, scones and an assortment of homemade cakes as well as a choice of one of the exclusive new tipples. They include Choco-Tini, which is a mix of Baileys and Vodka shaken up with chocolate liqueur or a Gingerbread Manhattan that is made with Whyte and Mackay Whiskey and Martini Rosso, which was our personal favourite! There is also a Winter Pimms Punch that contains Pimms, Brandy and apple juice or the traditional Hot Toddy, which consists of measures of Whyte and Mackay Whiskey, fresh lime, cloves, honey, lemon bitters and warmed with English breakfast tea. Finally, there is the Bramble cocktail, which is made with gin, lime juice and shaken up with sugar syrup.
